Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local retail store in Fishers, IN. This role oversees repair and maintenance of refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, using hand and power tools, digital tools, and work orders to ensure rapid, safe service.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal)
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart policies.
