Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Lafayette, IN. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems across Walmart facilities, using a range of tools and processes to ensure reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of commercial Refrigeration HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth within a large retail

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, power tools
• Receive and process repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy
