Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems at our local Walmart facilities. You will use commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, and digital devices to complete jobs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in commercial refrigeration, EPA certifications, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training for safe operation of equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
