Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Indianapolis, IN to support and oversee repair of refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC skills with hand and power tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license with clean MVR, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
Complete all required safety training; follow OSHA and EPA guidelines.
