Reeves Young in Georgia is seeking a Construction Superintendent to supervise field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain schedules on multi-site projects.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery, with responsibility for daily progress reporting, field leadership, and coordination using standard project tools. Candidates should be prepared for physical demands on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand project documents (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals).
• Must be able to use MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours.
• May perform general physical activities including climbing, lifting, and walking.
• Must have Water/Waste Water experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field employees, subcontractors, and material vendors to meet project schedule.
• Maintain daily progress reports, field paperwork, and photos of work progress.
• Manage large, complex projects across multiple sites and teams.
• Ensure projects meet quality requirements and milestones.
• Support PM team to meet budget, time, and safety objectives.

What Can You Expect

• Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to expedite the project schedule
• Maintain daily detailed progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew (if required), field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues.
• This position is responsible for managing a large, complex project which may include multiple sites and or buildings, components, and subordinate superintendents or visits and mentors multiple project teams pending geographical region.
• This position is responsible for ensuring project meets all company and project specific quality requirements, and for scheduling and maintaining daily work activities in a manner to meet project milestones as required.
• Assist the Project Management Team, ensuring projects meet budget, quality, time and safety objectives and leading project field crews through detailed planning, scheduling, supervising, execution of and coordinating the work scope of work.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
• May require performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Must have Water/Waste Water experience.
