MPI is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex life sciences, laboratory, biotech, healthcare, and advanced technology construction projects across Southern California. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial construction with a track record of ground-up or complex tenant improvements, and a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery within high-tech environments.

Responsibilities

A well-established and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex life sciences, laboratory, biotech, healthcare, and advanced technology construction projects throughout Southern California. Description

Our Senior Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Lead all onsite construction operations from project startup through closeout
• Develop and maintain master project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel
• Drive site safety culture and OSHA compliance
• Manage project logistics, phasing, and sequencing plans
• Conduct owner, architect, and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Oversee quality control, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities
• Coordinate complex MEP systems, process piping, clean rooms, laboratory infrastructure, and specialty equipment installations
• Partner closely with Project Management regarding procurement, budgets, forecasting, and change management
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards

An outstanding Senior Superintendent will have:
