Job summary

McGough is seeking field leadership professionals to support our National Travel – Advanced Technology team delivering complex data center and mission-critical projects across the country.

This multi-level requisition includes Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, and Senior Superintendent roles. Travel and project assignments across ND, TX, NC, with assignments at various locations; level determined during interview based on experience and project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for all levels.
• 3–7 years of construction-related experience for Assistant Superintendent; 10+ years for Superintendent; 15+ years for Senior Superintendent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to lead.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and/or comparable construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction & Field Planning: support or lead planning, scheduling, site logistics and safety planning.
• Field Operations & Subcontractor Management: coordinate field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers; lead daily huddles and site coordination.
• Scheduling & Production: develop and manage project schedules; Lean construction activities.
• Safety & Quality: promote safety culture; ensure compliance with safety requirements and quality plans.
• Cost, Documentation & Project Controls: monitor costs; maintain field documentation and as-built information.
• Project & Team Leadership: mentor staff; drive Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Commissioning & Closeout: coordinate punch lists, inspections, and turnover.
• Other Responsibilities: support standard work and professional development.
