McGough is a respected partner with six generations of construction experience. The Field Engineer assists the onsite Superintendent and Foreman across project execution, learning core construction processes and pursuing growth into Field Operations or Project Management.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving while supporting multiple tasks and teams. ND/TX/NC travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Some Internship, education or field experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement
• Current OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity tracking and verification.
• Track and monitor material inventory on the project site.
• Support building layout and survey activities.
• Assist with organization, storage, and maintenance of tools.
• Verify embeds and other constructability-related items.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
• Assist in preparing RFIs.
• Support subcontractor coordination and management.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
• Assist with document control and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
• Conduct site safety audits and participate in site safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily logs.
