C. Herman Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to lead senior field teams across multiple ground-up multifamily projects. You will mentor Superintendents, manage staffing, and ensure schedule, safety, quality, and cost targets are met through proactive planning and strong leadership.

This senior role requires advanced technical skills, scheduling capability, and the ability to travel between active projects while maintaining best-practice field methods and client relations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading large-scale ground-up multifamily projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects as a General Superintendent.
• Strong scheduling expertise: baselines, look-aheads, recovery.
• Proficient with Procore and MS Office; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship across multiple projects.
• Forecast staffing needs and assist in performance evaluations for field roles.
• Oversee field execution to meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.
• Lead scheduling oversight: baselines, look-aheads, sequencing, recovery planning.
• Drive field logistics, phasing plans, and best-practice building methods.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, inspectors, and clients.
• Monitor field performance to identify risks and report to leadership.
