Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Boston to lead ground-up and renovation projects in the commercial and academic sectors. You will oversee on-site operations, develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage safety and client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of superintendent experience with a commercial GC, strong scheduling skills (P6/MS Project), and a deep understanding of the Boston market. The role entails local project leadership with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC.
• Experience on higher education or institutional projects preferred.
• Strong scheduling experience (P6 or MS Project exposure a plus).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of Boston construction market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors and enforce quality standards.
• Manage site safety and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Oversee logistics planning for tight urban and occupied campus environments.
• Run OAC and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Partner closely with Project Management and Preconstruction teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships on-site.
