Jobot is seeking a seasoned Commercial Superintendent to lead ground-up and complex renovation projects in the Greater Boston area. You will oversee all aspects from planning through completion, coordinating with PMs, architects, and engineers to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, strong leadership, and expertise in blueprint reading, safety management, and building codes. Competitive benefits & career growth offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Experience in quality control, blueprint reading, contract management, safety management, understanding of building codes, construction safety, and materials management.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Reading, understanding, and implementing construction blueprints and specifications.
• Managing contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Implementing and enforcing safety management programs to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Overseeing construction safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
• Managing construction materials, ensuring adequate supply, and minimizing waste.
• Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Conducting quality control checks and inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.
