Job summary

Engtal, a respected mid-sized General Contractor in the Greater Boston area, seeks an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee large-scale multi-family residential developments.

This role leads ground-up projects from sitework to turnover, coordinating field operations, scheduling, safety, and quality with strong support from project management and field staff. The on-site leader will coordinate with ownership, design teams, and inspectors on ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of commercial construction experience, with an emphasis on ground-up multi-family projects.
• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on wood-frame, podium-style, or structural steel/concrete residential developments.
• Experience managing projects valued at $30M-$100M+.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, site logistics, subcontractor management, and construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to independently run complex projects and mentor junior field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up multi-family construction projects from initial sitework through final turnover.
• Oversee all daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and construction sequencing.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Assistant Superintendents, and field engineers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality control, and subcontractor performance.
• Serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating with ownership, design teams, and municipal inspectors.
