Job summary
ARCO Design/Build is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations for food processing and manufacturing projects. You will coordinate core/shell construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and turnover, while partnering with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to meet schedule, budget, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a lead superintendent on large food facilities, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage multiple vendors and ensure
Qualifications
- 5–10 years as lead superintendent on food/beverage projects
- Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and owner reps
- Experience enforcing food safety requirements across project phases
- Ability to manage complex projects from sitework to startup
- Demonstrated leadership and conflict-resolution skills
Responsibilities
- Attend post award reviews and extract project details
- Prepare schedules and manpower plans with PM
- Ensure adequate manpower to meet construction timelines
- Coordinate subcontractors and equipment with project schedules
- Review change orders with PM and document costs
- Maintain daily project diary and progress reports
- Enforce safety and quality control policies across the project
