Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Superintendent with 5+ years as a lead on food processing and manufacturing construction projects. You will manage field operations, coordinate owners/design teams, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers to bring complex facilities to completion on time and within budget.

You will enforce safety/quality policies, supervise craft supervisors, and ensure compliance with food safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years as lead superintendent on food and beverage projects, preferably 100,000+ sq ft.
• Experience coordinating vendors, process equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and owner representatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing food safety requirements across all project phases.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and equipment and manage multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Attend post award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare construction activity schedules and resource plans with the project manager.
• Ensure adequate manpower to meet schedules and manage equipment usage.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Direct adherence to safety and quality control policies across the project.
