Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a Senior Superintendent for Wilmington, NC to lead on-site delivery of marquee commercial construction projects with no travel.

The ideal candidate will manage CPM schedules, coordinate subs, ensure safety and quality, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Project Managers to drive project success in the local market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 7–10+ years of commercial construction experience with leadership of large projects.
• Experience managing complex developments (commercial, healthcare, multifamily, education, industrial).
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, safety standards, quality control, and codes.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on‑site leader for commercial construction projects from mobilization through final completion.
• Develop, manage, and drive the project CPM schedule and short‑term look‑ahead schedules.
• Lead daily operations and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Conduct weekly coordination, scheduling, and pre‑installation meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and jobsite organization.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to proactively address field challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to ensure schedule compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, punch list activities, and project closeout requirements.
• Partner closely with Project Managers to manage execution strategies, logistics planning, and overall project success.
• Develop and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff while fostering a positive, team‑oriented culture.

A leading commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of complex construction projects throughout the Wilmington, NC market. This is a local position with no travel requirements, offering the opportunity to lead marquee projects while maintaining strong relationships with local clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
