Job summary

TYG is seeking experienced Superintendents to join a mission-critical team focused on large-scale data center projects. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with engineering and safety, and drive schedules and budgets to ensure delivery on time and within scope.

The role requires strong leadership of large crews, deep knowledge of critical building systems, and hands-on management of BIM/VDC, Procore, PlanGrid, and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years as superintendent on large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading large teams while maintaining safety, productivity, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily field operations for trades and subcontractors, assigning tasks through foremen or leads.
• Maintains communication with engineering, quality control, and safety to meet design plans, specs, and deadlines.
• Evaluates blueprints, budgets, and estimates with the PM and superintendent to align quantities, costs, staffing and delivery schedules.
• Organizes operational activities with a strict focus on safety.
• Handles additional tasks as requested by supervisor.

Job description

We're partnering with a specialized General Contractor to find experienced Superintendents to join their Mission Critical teams in Texas.

• Vehicle allowance plus gas card.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily field operations for trade workers and subcontractors, assigning tasks through foremen or subcontractor leads.
• Keeps open lines of communication with engineering, quality control, and safety teams to guarantee all work meets design plans, specifications, and deadlines.
• Evaluates project blueprints, budgets, and estimates alongside the project manager and superintendent to confirm a shared understanding of material quantities, costs, staffing needs, and delivery schedules across all phases.
• Organizes and executes all operational activities with a strict focus on maintaining safety standards.
• Handles extra tasks and duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a superintendent capacity on large-scale data center, mission-critical, or similarly complex projects.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of the construction and operation of mission-critical building systems, including electrical distribution, mechanical/HVAC systems, fire protection, and security infrastructure.
• Comfortable working with construction scheduling and planning tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC technology and construction management systems, including platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, PlanGrid, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams while maintaining safety, productivity, quality, and schedule performance in a demanding project environment.
• OSHA 30-hour, CPR, and First Aid certifications required or preferred.
