Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Superintendent/Senior Superintendent based in Austin to lead industrial projects along the Austin–Waco corridor. You will own projects from mobilization through completion while coordinating with the PM, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial/industrial construction, proven superintendent experience on $10M–$65M+ projects, and a strong focus on safety, schedules, and building

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on projects valued at $10M–$65M+.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution or similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of project schedules and critical-path activities.
• Excellent knowledge of construction plans, specifications and building codes.
• Strong safety leadership and jobsite management skills.

We are a growing industrial general contractor with an established head office in the DFW area and an expanding presence in Central Texas.

We specialize in delivering industrial construction projects ranging up to 150,000 sq. ft. and $65 million in value.

As our Central Texas operation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent / Senior Superintendent based in Austin to lead projects located primarily throughout the Austin–Waco corridor.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction superintendent to take ownership of major industrial projects from mobilization through completion.

Based in Austin, you will lead field operations on projects between Austin and Waco, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, vendors, clients, design teams and our DFW head office.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced superintendent who is comfortable taking ownership of complex industrial projects and leading multiple subcontractors in the field.

Ideally, you will have:
