Job summary

MPI is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on a flagship, long-term industrial megaproject. You will ensure safety, schedule, and quality across on-site construction teams, with travel across the United States as business needs require.

The role reports to senior project leadership and collaborates with Project Managers to manage program, staffing, and project financial performance. Hyperscale data centre and large industrial experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of construction field leadership and project execution experience.
• Experience leading large, complex industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, data centre projects.
• Ground-up industrial construction experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop field personnel and subcontractor teams.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing and document interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, JDE and scheduling tools.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, compliance records, and close-out activities
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project outcomes

Job Description

Reporting into senior project leadership, the Senior Project Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure successful project delivery from mobilisation through completion.

• Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards

• Partner closely with Project Managers to manage program, staffing, and project financial performance
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules, including short-term look-ahead planning

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 8 years of construction field leadership and project execution experience
• Proven experience leading large, complex industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, data centre, or similar projects
• Ground-up industrial construction experience strongly preferred
• Hyperscale data centre and semiconductor project exposure considered highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop field personnel and subcontractor teams
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, sequencing, and document interpretation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction technology platforms
• Experience with Procore, JDE, scheduling software, and related project management tools preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and relocate between projects as business needs require

• Base salary approximately $160,000 - $180,000 (DOE)
• Additional travel and subsistence incentives with potential annual value of $30,000 - $50,000
