Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Survey SUE Technician II to join our Melbourne, FL team. You will detect subsurface utilities using GPR and EMI, operate data collectors, and perform SUE field activities with minimal supervision while documenting results.

Ideal candidates have a strong surveying background, are able to travel for assignments, and will train to operate and maintain company equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• 3+ years as SUE Technician I or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of land surveying.
• Ability to travel for work, including overnight stays.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and maintain clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using nondestructive methods.
• Operate data collectors and gather field measurements.
• Record and document underground utility data accurately.
• Train to operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Meet company safety standards and participate in safety training.
• Perform SUE field activities with minimal supervision.
