Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Survey SUE Technician II to join our team in North and South Carolina offices, including Raleigh and Charlotte. The role focuses on locating underground utilities with EMI and GPR tools, recording data, and assisting with field training.

Travel to various sites and occasional overnight assignments may be required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years as SUE Technician I or related experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight assignments.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using nondestructive methods.
• Operate EMI and GPR equipment to collect field data.
• Record drawings and design plans; document field data accurately.
• Prepare daily paperwork and train junior field staff.
• Work under moderate supervision with opportunities for senior review.
