Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee budgets, resources, and client relationships across SUE and survey projects. You will coordinate field and office staff, manage proposals, schedules, and contracts, and ensure quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project management for large-scale geospatial or surveying programs, strong CAD/tool proficiency (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopack), and licensed professional credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry work experience in a professional or management capacity.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large scale projects.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopack, MS Office Suite.
• Professional License or ability to get licensed quickly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, while ensuring services meet company quality standards and client specifications.
• Plan and implement procedures to maximize operating efficiency.
• Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts.
• Sign and seal plats, field notes and control drawings if required.
• Establish work plans and staffing for multiple projects.
• Participate in business development opportunities and maintain client relationships.
• Develop and conduct presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Interface with sub-consultants and other business relationships.
• Provide support to other operational units as needed.
• Manage and report financial status including AR/WIP and billing cycles.
• Represent company interests in meetings and trade shows.
