T2 Utility Engineers in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician III to guide and lead field crews, map utilities, and ensure accurate data collection for projects.

The role requires 2+ years as SUE Technician II, ability to read utility prints, valid CDL not required, willingness to travel up to 50%, and a commitment to safety. The company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with strong safety mindset.
• 2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans.
• Good oral and written communication, detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Mastery in SUE locating equipment to map utilities accurately.
• Complete detailed daily reports and field sketches.
• Supervise daily field crew activities and train others.
• Represent T2ue with clients and subcontractors in the field.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies; ensure safety.
• Facilitate Daily Tailgate Safety Meetings; perform Job Hazard Analysis.
• Drive commercial vehicles (CDL not required).
• Direct safetySetup for traffic signage; complete equipment inventory.
