T2 Utility Engineers in Norcross, GA is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician III to lead daily field crew operations and ensure accurate utility mapping within project areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II.
• Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (US only) and obtain a DOT medical card (US only).
• Ability to secure required identity verification (e.g., TWIC and SWAC).
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• OSHA safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mastery in operating SUE locating and designating equipment to map utilities within the project area.
• Complete detailed daily reports, forms, and field sketches.
• Supervise daily SUE field crew activities and train other crew members.
• Represent and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and third parties during field activities.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, tools and supplies; ensure safety compliance.
• Lead Daily Tailgate Safety Meetings and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Drive commercial vehicles; CDL not required.
• Direct safety setup for traffic signage; manage monthly equipment inventory.
