T2 Utility Engineers in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician III to guide and lead field crews, map utilities, and ensure accurate data collection for projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans.

• Able to pass pre-employment physical and obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

SUE Technician III responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Mastery in the operation of SUE utility locating and designating equipment in complex utility infrastructure environments to accurately map all utilities within the project area
• Complete detailed accurate daily reports, forms and field sketches, both electronically as well as draft by hand
• Supervise daily SUE field crew activities and train other crew members
• Represent and communicate on behalf of T2ue with client, sub-contractors, and third parties during field activities
• Effective maintenance, cleaning, and operation of vehicles, equipment, tools and supplies
• Facilitate Daily Tailgate Safety Meetings
• Perform Daily Job Hazard Analysis with crew members
• Drive commercial motor vehicles, however a CDL license is not required
• Direct safety set-up for properof traffic signage
• Complete monthly equipment inventory for Supervisor reorder

Tech III Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II
• Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans
• Must have a good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Ability to secure client-required identity verification, such as TWIC and SWAC
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (U.S. only)
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for CMV operation (U.S. only)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical movements necessary to operate heavy tools and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in all climates
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, by company vehicle or commercial airline, up2 week continuous stay.
• OSHA Safety certifications are a plus
