Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer to lead substation physical design projects ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. You will perform QA/QC on drawings, grounding layouts, and foundation designs while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of design experience are expected, with PE or PMP credentials advantageous. Remote work within the US is offered, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of substation physical design experience for senior level.
• Experience with grounding, lightning, and lighting studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation physical design projects from 12 kV to 500 kV.
• Perform QA/QC reviews on design packages and drawings.
• Create and verify BOMs for substation components.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
