Leidos is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL. You will design substation physical projects for 12kV–500kV systems and collaborate with engineers, CAD technicians, and clients to meet scope, schedule and budget.

The role emphasizes reading and creating one-line and plan drawings, BOMs, and site visits, with opportunities for training, mentoring, and professional growth including EIT/PE/PMP paths.

Qualifications

• Experience in executing substation physical projects.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to read and design substation drawings (one-line, three-line, plan-section).

Responsibilities

• Design substation physical projects and drawings.
• Create and check bill of materials for substation work.
• Attend site visits at customer locations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and CAD technicians.
