Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer in Orlando, FL to design substation projects ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. The role requires knowledge of digital logic, AC/DC circuits, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

The position offers a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the Orlando office) with opportunities for professional certification, leadership growth, and ongoing training. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 4+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• Willingness to travel to project and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute substation physical design projects.
• Perform quality control checks on drawings and designs.
• Read and design substation drawings (one-line, plan-section).
• Create and verify bill of materials for substation physical.
• Attend site visits at customer locations.
