Job summary

Toth and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer V to lead the technical execution of electrical substation projects—from kickoff through delivery.

You will mentor engineering staff, interface with clients, and ensure high-quality project delivery through proactive risk management and rigorous QA/QC practices. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience in electrical substation engineering, an ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering, and a proven ability to lead complex

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 7–10 years of experience in electrical substation engineering or related power systems design.
• Proven ability to lead technical execution of projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead major portions of substation projects or independently execute small-to-medium projects from kickoff through delivery.
• Serve as the technical lead and primary engineering point of contact for project coordination with Project Managers, clients, and internal teams.
• Own the technical scope of work, including development and oversight of substation physical and protection & control design deliverables.
• Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, calculations, studies, and bills of material.
• Apply and enforce codes and standards (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI) for compliant designs.
• Mentor Engineer I–IV staff through design reviews and feedback.
