Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Designer/Drafter to perform detailed design work, prepare drawings and specifications, and support project leaders on various electrical and instrumentation projects.

You may act as design leader on smaller projects and provide guidance to Designers and Technicians. The role emphasizes proficiency in CADD, strong drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of satisfactory experience as a Designer/Drafter.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical capability to perform duties.
• Drafting experience including proficiency in CADD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual or computer aided design and construction drawings of a complex nature with neatness and minimal errors.
• Perform design services with a full understanding of drawings, specs, and standards.
• Assist in preparation of engineering calculations and cost estimates.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and design development to meet project schedules.
