Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc., a global environmental and engineering firm, is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer in the United States. You will support design and construction activities, assist with drawings, calculations, and specifications, and gain expertise in substation design, control systems, and protective relaying.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Entry-level; 0-1 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more areas: Electrical Engineering.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in: Substation Design, Electrical Control Systems, Protective Relaying.
• Develop knowledge of the Company’s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
• Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
• May be required to travel to support work.
• Other duties as required.
