Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of substation construction experience.
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards and the ability to work under various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Review bid packages for accuracy.
• Ensure quality of work and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor safety, quality, and production of crews.

Skills

Substation construction experience

Knowledge of OSHA and NESC standards

Ability to direct multiple crews

Experience with substation equipment

Effective communication

Education

High school diploma or GED

Technical or vocational degree preferred

OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
