Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a seasoned Compliance Analyst for Substation processes to support NERC, FERC, CIP compliance and data management for substation assets. The role focuses on documenting processes, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating with engineering and project teams in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in utilities with analytics and strong communication skills; the position offers day-to-day collaboration with multiple disciplines and opportunities to impact

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical degree in Electronic Sciences; 8+ years' experience may substitute for degree.
Minimum 6 years of utility experience; business/data analytics and compliance experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Understand and enforce NERC policy, standards, processes and controls.
Assist in complex substation technical processes and asset data integrity.
Coordinate design changes and asset inventory data with multiple teams; manage schedules and compliance documentation.
