Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a NERC CIP Specialist to support critical electric transmission and distribution infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining compliance across IT, OT, and energy management systems, reviewing controls, and preparing reliability and compliance documentation.

You will collaborate with IT, OT, Operations, and compliance teams, lead evidence collection, and participate in industry stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

Experience with NERC CIP standards and compliance practices.
Experience reviewing controls related to patching, configuration management, logging and backups.
Ability to interpret technical information and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

Inspect and review data, records, and technical information for accuracy and compliance with NERC CIP Standards.
Analyze reporting from IT/OT teams to assess compliance with NERC CIP Standards.
Verify OS updates, patches, configuration changes, and baseline documentation meet standards.
Review system configurations for logging, account administration, hardening, and vulnerability management.
Support Self-Reports, Mitigation Plans, and other compliance documents.
Lead cross-functional efforts to collect and validate compliance evidence.
