Job summary

PJM Interconnection's FERC and Reliability Compliance Department seeks a Sr./Lead Compliance Analyst to focus on NERC Reliability Standards, coordinating PJM positions and supporting audits. The role requires independent work, strong analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to develop recommendations impacting PJM systems and reliability.

You will participate in audits, lead compliance initiatives, and collaborate with PJM Members and Stakeholders to manage tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in Utility Operations and/or Planning.
• 0-5 years of experience working with compliance requirements.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with interchange arrangements, Bulk Power relationships, and FERC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and in a team to compile, prepare, and analyze data, reports, and studies.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Develop recommendations on NERC and Regional standards impacting PJM systems and reliability.
• Maintain knowledge of NERC standards development and prepare PJM requirements.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, determine solutions, and draw conclusions.
• Lead or participate in audits of Transmission Owner compliance under PJM tasks.
• Map PJM’s compliance with NERC Reliability Standards.
• Prepare PJM for NERC and Regional Audits, Spot Checks, and Self-Certifications.
• Collaborate with PJM Members and Stakeholders to manage compliance tasks.
