Job summary

Eversource is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead the testing and commissioning of high‑complexity substation projects. You will ensure safety, reliability, and cost‑effective performance while coordinating with Systems Test and Protection & Controls Engineering.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering or related field, 8–10 years of utility experience, and a valid CT/MA driver's license. A Master’s degree is preferred and travel between MA/CT/NH is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of utility distribution/transmission engineering experience.
• Valid CT/MA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complex substation projects are tested and commissioned safely and reliably.
• Develop standards and procedures for test and commissioning of projects.
• Lead and mentor engineers; coach staff and review performance.
