Job summary

Eversource Energy in Connecticut seeks a Senior Supervisor to lead substation construction, maintenance, and repair activities. You will analyze maintenance data, manage crews, and promote a safety-first culture while delivering strong customer outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of supervisory experience in substation operations and maintenance, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You will coordinate with multiple sections and represent management at meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent related experience is required.
• 8–10 years of related experience with previous supervisory experience required.
• Experience in substation operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to serve as local technical lead or coach for other supervisors.
• Ability to develop and coach others; lead area work center activities during manager absence.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations.
• Coordinates staffing, materials and equipment with other sections per schedules.
• Responsible for reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Analyzes maintenance data and inputs into company database.
• Sets clear expectations and provides ongoing feedback; conducts performance reviews.
• Responsible for proper application of local union contracts and resolves grievances and concerns.
• Directs safety awareness and compliance initiatives within the group.
• Demonstrates a customer-first attitude and collaborates to resolve customer issues.
