NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Physical Engineer to perform engineering design and analysis under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. The role supports client projects, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

The candidate will lead QA/QC activities, train junior staff in physical design of substations and BESS facilities, and develop technical documents while upholding NEI standards. hybrid/remote options and travel expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE or PE licensure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead QA/QC through NEI Quality Assurance Plan and ensure accuracy of designs.
• Train junior engineers and designers in physical design of electrical substations and BESS facilities.
• Prepare technical go-bys, training documents, and enforce technical standards across the department.
• Provide technical leadership on projects, manage scope, budget, and execution, and ensure quality deliverables.
