Job summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Supervisor to lead the treatment team in an outpatient setting. You will supervise counselors, ensure timely documentation, and identify holistic needs of patients while reporting to the Treatment Center Director.

The role requires licensure (OH LCDCIII/LICDC/LICDC-CS/LSW-S), 3+ years in chemical dependency care, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; EMR familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess OH LCDCIII, LICDC, LICDC-CS, and LSW-S.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Prior supervisory experience and self-motivation required.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with EMRs a plus.
• Satisfactory criminal background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assigns counselors’ caseloads and amends when necessary.
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews.
• Direct and supervise all intake operations.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records per Federal/State regulations.
• Maintain counseling caseload and supervise staff through meetings.
• Act as Treatment Center Director when absent.
• Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
