Job summary

SYNCHRON, LLC provides critical executive-level support for Navy program offices at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. The role supports SUB-E57 leadership and engineers, coordinating planning, execution, and reporting of submarine system initiatives.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, extensive Navy modernization experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Power BI to develop technical documents, manuals, and performance reports for ongoing programs.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of relevant experience with U.S. Navy Modernization and Submarine systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of Power BI.
• Experience supporting Navy customers in a business capacity.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with DoW and DSP Policy and Instructions for Submarine Modernizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessments and assist in troubleshooting submarine electrical systems and components.
• Support planning, execution, and reporting of program initiatives and actions.
• Plan, manage and coordinate engineering development programs and actions.
• Prepare coordinated reports, presentations and briefings for program actions.
• Maintain program files and track action items from meetings and program staff.
• Influence NAVSEA codes, program offices, and industry partners on maintenance of ship systems and technical issues.
