Job summary

Maximus is a leading government services provider seeking a strategic Subcontracts Leader to oversee the full lifecycle of subcontractor engagements within the assigned portfolio. You will drive performance, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and align contracting activities with program objectives.

You will mentor teams, lead negotiations, and implement best practices across the subcontracting function to improve efficiency, governance, and value for our customers and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in FAR/DFARS compliance and government contracting.
• Experience leading subcontract teams in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with iCertis, Coupa, and Cost Point.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance from solicitation to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.
• Develop and drive subcontracting strategies across portfolios.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and schedules.
• Mentor team and drive process improvements in subcontracting.
