Job summary

RTX, a premier aerospace and defense leader, is seeking a remote procurement professional to manage supplier performance and drive on-time delivery for Raytheon programs. You will translate SOWs into accountable supplier actions, document awards, and work with IPTs to mitigate risks while navigating FAR/DFAR requirements.

The role offers a US-based remote work setup and requires strong negotiation, metrics execution, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Typically requires: a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
Previous procurement experience
U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required for access to certain systems/sites

Responsibilities

Proactively manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery and provide status updates.
Present Root Cause and Corrective Actions to leadership based on metrics.
Understand Statements of Work (SOW) and hold suppliers accountable.
Execute to key metrics to ensure program performance.
Document purchase orders with summary of award, source justification, price analysis, negotiation strategy, and risk assessment.
Perform post-award activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status, expedites, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with Program IPTs and participate in supplier development as needed.
