Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience reading and understanding drawing specifications.
• Experience with cost and price analysis and leading negotiations.
• Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer subcontract types including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, and Time and Materials.
• Collaborate with material program management and engineering to define procurement strategies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare subcontract documentation compliant with policies, FAR, and DFAR.
• Analyze supply chain challenges and develop alignment with program objectives.
• Plan and execute procurement tasks independently to meet program requirements.
• Interface with IPTs to address technical and program challenges and provide procurement solutions.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage procurement execution and drive material outcomes.
• Conduct price analyses and lead negotiations to achieve best value.
