Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist to join a hybrid team in El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and administering subcontracts to support complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years' experience or Master’s with 6+ years in Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, or PM.
• Experience with SAP/MRP software.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• FAR/DFARS regulations knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source subcontracted materials and services, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and award subcontracts.
• Manage subcontract performance, cost, schedule, and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Coordinate with legal, contracts, finance, planning, operations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Ensure export/import compliance and appropriate documentation for logistics.
• Lead process improvements using Lean Six Sigma with suppliers.
