Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience in purchasing/subcontracts; master’s with 3+ years acceptable.
• Experience in government purchasing/subcontracting.
• Experience with MRP systems such as SAP, Costpoint, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance monitoring to ensure quality and reliability.
• Manage all pre-award and post-award subcontract activities, including onboarding suppliers, drafting RFPs/RFQs, evaluating bids, and negotiations.
• Coordinate with contracts, engineering, quality, planning, operations, programs, end-users, and others to finalize SOWs and draft NDAs and long-term purchasing agreements.
• Ensure compliance with public laws, company policies, import/export regulations, and flow-down clauses while upholding procurement integrity.
• Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and drive program success.
