Job summary

Northrop Grumman invites applications for a Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist to lead complex subcontract activities from pre-award to closeout. You will draft agreements, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with procurement laws and company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's and 5+ years in purchasing/subcontracts, plus government-facing experience and ERP system knowledge across SAP, Costpoint, or Oracle. This position is hybrid across CA sites with travel and U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in purchasing, subcontracts, or contracts; or 9 years in lieu of a degree.
Government purchasing/subcontracting experience is required.
Experience in MRP systems such as SAP, Costpoint or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Conduct supplier evaluations and performance monitoring for quality and reliability.
Manage pre-award and post-award subcontract activities, including RFPs/RFQs and negotiations.
Draft SOWs, NDAs and long-term purchasing agreements; ensure FAR/DFAR compliance.
Drive cost savings, mitigate supplier risks, and coordinate with contracts, engineering and programs.
