Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas is seeking a Subcontract Management Senior to lead subcontract management efforts focused on cost, schedule, and technical performance for high-risk subcontracts across commercial, DoD, and international programs.

The role requires strong leadership, supplier relationship expertise, and the ability to direct cross-functional teams, negotiate terms, and oversee bids and subcontracts through development, production, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to start).
• Experience managing supplier relationships and cross-functional teams.
• Able to lead groups in problem solving.
• Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk COTS and custom subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and exercise procurement-delegation authority.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for specialized materials and equipment.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and award subcontracts.
• Administer subcontracts and oversee change activities throughout development, production, and sustainment.
