Job summary

General Atomics in San Diego's Torrey Pines area is seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator to join the Subcontracts team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in supply chain management, contract administration, or related discipline, plus 15+ years of progressive professional experience.
• Must be well versed in Government Contracting (FAR, DFARS, ITAR) and possess a comprehensive understanding of acquisition principles and related regulations.
• Experience with Statements of Work and SDRL management.
• Experience with various contract types (e.g., FFP, CR, CPFF, T&M).
• Ability to lead and communicate new concepts for unique requirements.

Responsibilities

• Procure major subcontracts for complex hardware and services.
• Review SOWs and prepare RFPs/RFQs and conduct source selections.
• Lead cost and pricing reviews with management and customers.
• Negotiate subcontracts with suppliers.
• Interpret terms and contribute to modifications of standard/non-standard provisions.
• Advise management of rights and obligations.
• Identify subcontract risks and develop innovative solutions.
• Represent the organization as the primary subcontract contact to internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations throughout procurement lifecycle.
• Observe all laws and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
