Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Subcontract Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract across CONUS locations. The role manages solicitations, evaluates proposals, negotiates terms, and ensures compliance with FAR and DoD regulations while coordinating with proposals and technical teams.

The successful candidate will have extensive subcontracting and leadership experience, ability to mentor others, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• Must have 8+ years of directly related experience.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and SharePoint.
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solicitation documents, determine correct solicitation method, and determine sources to be solicited.
• Analyze and evaluate Task Order and subcontractor proposals, negotiate deviations from work statements, schedule, and terms and conditions.
• Provide value-added analysis of solicitations, pricing strategies, contract terms and conditions; identify risks and mitigations.
• Establish and negotiate MSAs; maintain documents for audits.
• Perform cost/price analysis and provide justification of award.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to meet internal and external requirements and deadlines.
• Manage subcontract modifications and oversee closeout of subcontracts after project completion.
• Review subcontractor invoices for compliance; ensure timely contract execution and documentation.
