Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Subcontract Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract across Schriever Space Force Base, Redstone Arsenal, Dahlgren, Fort Belvoir, and other CONUS locations. You will oversee solicitations, evaluations, and subcontract administration with a focus on compliance and cost analysis.

Expect to mentor subcontract staff, manage complex negotiations, and ensure timely execution of agreements under DoD regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• Must have 8+ years of directly related experience.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solicitation documents, determine correct solicitation method, and determine sources to be solicited.
• Analyze and evaluate Task Order and subcontractor proposals; negotiate deviations; act as primary POC with subcontractors and project team.
• Provide value-added analysis of solicitations, pricing strategies, and contract terms; identify risks and mitigations.
• Establish and negotiate unique subcontracting solutions such as Master Service Agreements (MSA).
• Maintain document files for audits.
• Conduct cost and/or price analysis and provide justification of award.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Manage subcontract modifications and ensure documentation is complete.
• Administer subcontracts per SOW and delivery schedules; perform closeout.
• Review subcontractor invoices for compliance with terms.
• Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution.
• Ensure final contract documents are consistent with negotiations.
• Review FAR and DoD regulations for compliance.
• Evaluate contract performance and amendments/extensions as needed.
• Provide dispute resolution and track to closure Letters of Concern.
• Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings.
• Work with proposals/technical team on SOW, PR submissions, and competition.
• Maintain and present subcontractor metrics to leadership.
