Amentum is seeking a motivated Subcontracts Administrator I to support the full lifecycle of subcontract administration in the aerospace and aviation industries. In this entry-level role, you will assist in preparing, negotiating, administering, and closing out subcontract agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with government contracting or procurement processes is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process subcontract documentation, including agreements, task/delivery orders, modification requests, and correspondence.
• Review and evaluate vendor proposals for completeness, pricing accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare RFPs and assist with SOWs and proposal instructions.
• Track subcontract deliverables and milestones to ensure timeliness and compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of subcontract activities in Costpoint and other systems.
• Support invoice reviews, payments, and reconciliation.
• Assist with subcontract closeouts and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with technical teams, accounting, and finance to support project needs.
